Golf is an Odyseey…. A Journey So HITUM

Golf is an odyssey.... a journey and you never arrive much like life. It brings out the best and the worst of us it’s a luv hate relationship. I hate this game I hate this game “ Good shot Man” I luv this game! And that’s how it goes. I’m always up for a good flogging ( golf spelled backwards) Now that’s ironic!

I started golf in my 30s and 30 years later I still suck. I had an all arms swing with a big slice and never could figure it out till mercifully my Girl asked one year “What would you like for your birthday?” Golf lessons says I! So badly needed. I was a big time out to in caster. ( Must have come from my Dad a huge fly fisher man ) what a battle to fix that. My instructor told me visualize a clock on the wall behind you and at half backswing you’re going counter clockwise. Do the opposite IDIOT! Like George Constanta when he got his job with the Yankees. It worked after hours and hours of practice. I heard a top instructor say he tells his students when they start we’ll be working on the same basics you whole career.

It’s still a Hitum and hope thing. You can see the pros do that too. Top pros down to lowly me always say their game needs work. Get out and HITUM
